I have motor card insurance with ICICI lombard.
Electronic device is damaged due to flood water came inside.
As per policy, insurance company should pay 95% of equipment cost as it is new car.
They are planning to pay only 50% by saying it is plastic. But it is not plastic item.

They are even providing details on e-mail.
Please help me to proceed further.

Shortfall in payment of medical expenses incurred in hospitalization

I am a Mediclaim policy (Policy No. 104200/46/14/8565000102) holder with National Insurance Company, Bidhan Nagar Divison, Kolkata since 27/11/2000. On May 20, 2015 I had to undergo coronary angioplasty to have three stents implanted in my arteries. I was hospitalized from May 19 to May 23, 2015. My hospital bill was Rs. 4,49, 243/-. Subsequently I submitted a claim to Paramount Health Services (Pvt.) Ltd. (Consumer ID: 21483163) where I sought reimbursement to the tune of Rs. 4.2 lakh as that was my coverage for the period 27/11/14 through 26/11/15. But on October 19 my bank account was remitted Rs. 2, 41, 375/- only on the pretext that I had been hypertensive since 2002. Hence, I seek redressal from Consumers' Forum to help me recover the balance Rs. 1, 78, 625/- .

SIR, I HAS A HOME INSURANCE POLICY WITH ICICI WITH POLICY No. 4013/ICICI-HSP/291790/00/000. I HAD BURST PIPE IN 2011 FOR WHICH A CLAIM OF Rs 39500 WAS GIVEN TO ME ON 16/09/2011 WITH CHEQUE No. 514580 WITH REFERENCE No. 3081168. NOW THIS YEAR ALSO I GOT A PIPE BURST, FOR WHICH , I ENTERED A COMPLAINT WITH REFERENCE No. 70120139. FOR THIS, COMPANY HAD REJECTED MY CLAIM SAYING PIPE BURST IS NOT INCLUDED IN INSURANCE. BUT PIPE BURST IS INCLUDED IN POLICY VIDE CLAUSE 9 OF SCOPE OF COVER. AND ALSO A CLAIM FOR SAME HAD BEEN SETTELED EARLIER ALSO. COMPANY IS ILLEGALLY DENYING ME A CLAIM. PLEASE SETTLE IT.

Mis-selling by metlife agent

I am karan chhabra s/o Mrs. Sangeeta chhabra. I am writing to you on behalf of my mom. When my mom had gone to pnb bank to deposit Rs.12,000 as fixed deposit, there a metlife agent manoj told her that she will get more interest on the amount than bank offered after 1 year. But when my mom approached to the bank after 1 year she got to know that it was a insurance policy and we have to go to CP branch of metlife for further enquiry. After that I went to metlife's CP branch where a metlife agent told me that this is an insurance policy in which we have to pay Rs.12,000 as premium for 3 years, as we were financially weak so we couldnot pay the premium. As the metlife agent wrongly committed the things this is a case of mis-selling. After 3 years of the policy we have got a letter from metlife that the policy has lapsed and a cheque of Rs.2000. I have Two Policy in Birla sun life Policy No-001642551 & 002694335 . I have give a cheque in favour of Birlasun life of prim um of rupees 62405. in spite of paying premium they opened a new policy on the name of abhishek .which i have not received yet . i have given written application in birla sun life branch twice . it is one and half year passed since i am training to get back my fund .but neither birla sun life communicating me nor they are replying when i have called then in costumer care no. i have given all document which they asked me to deposit as cheque photo copy , bank statement, bank concern latter, cancelled cheque etc. hoping consumer form will help me to get back my money

Complaint against Agent of SBI Life Insurance who cheated me. I have taken two policies of SBI Life Insurance of Rs. 30000/- yearly (14025900209 - dtd. 06.12.2010) & (14041342601- dtd. 20.07.2011). I have paid 2 premiums in one policy and one in another. But till date my 2nd policy bond paper didn’t come yet. And company totally denying for this. Suddenly a call came from SBI Life Insurance after 2 yrs for policy that we have not give any amount as per commitment by agent. (that’s why I writing to you). I took my 2nd policy within a year because agent promised me that SBI Life give you Rs. 30000/- as a bonus within a year. He didn't tell all the truth about the policy. And company totally denying for this. My Rs. 90000/- stuck in company and company totally denying that you have to read first terms and condition. Company gives you 15 days free look period. But I apologize for that but Company is totally denying. Company has mentioned the name of that agent in my 1st policy. But he left the company. Yesterday (08.10.2012) I received duplicate copy of my 2nd policy with a letter. Here also mention the name of agent and he also left the Company. Free look condition is not available due to duplicate copy, this is written in the letter. I am very poor guy and do not know about the terms and conditions. This is happened with me in first time. My question is that most of the benefits and promise in verbally and why do not tell in verbally about terms and conditions? Why not agent tells about surrender charges which deduct from premium? This is the company policy to trap client and do not verify till 2 yrs. Please give me some way for money that How to receive my money from Company without complete locking period.

Harassment from Apollo Munich Health Insurance

I am admitted to Apollo hospital at Sarita Vihar Delhi Location , and i have policy with following details Policy no: 180100/11001/1000155633-01 Member Id:10001477493 Name: Nikhil Kumar Srivastava 28 yrs,Male Apollo Munich Health Insurance Claimed Amount:1,00000 App. they are continuously rejected my claims by just saying that the disease is preexisting, while there is not any such issue.my consulting Doctor Mr.S.l.Baroor of Apollo Hospital send them 5 letters, but they denied it again and again. My health was suffered because of Apollo Munich Health Insurance, as i have to be admitted much earlier but due to time taken from Apollo munich ins.company, it got delayed and because of that i reached Apollo Hospital Emergency.I also lost my job due to same for 2 months and as my Father is a Retired person , because of that financially i have to suffered a lot. I also forward you the conversations between me and Apollo Munich Health Insurance company via Email. Pls. give me your positive support so that i will fight against all the ODDS of Apollo Munich Health Insurance company an be a symbol of faith for other suffers also.

Surrender of Policy & Not refunding the money

Sub : surrender of policy No Policy no 000570968 in the name of Bindu Suresh I’m a policy holder of Birla sun life insurance for the last six years and I had submitted a form of surrender of my policy 45 Days back to your NOIDA (UP ) Office and I made several calls and mails to the respective people of company and the customer care in Delhi to update the status of surrender /refund of Policy, but no response has received as of now and I am seriously concerned about their behavior of no responding and it is unfortunate that even after sending several mails , none of the company employees have respond to my mails/ phone calls .This clearly indicates that the company is been bluffing around the people and collating the public money in the form of Life Insurance and the customers like me is running around pillar to post to get back their hard earned money from these type of public cheating organizations. Would like to put it on record the facts of my case in the order of sequence :- Application submitted for surrendering the policy on 7 th of August 2012 and keep on interacting with company thru customer service and mails since after 15 days of submission of policy for surrender. With the various follow up, I came to know that the said application has misplaced from their NOIDA office on September 6 th. Second application was submitted on 10 th September on the assurance of disbursement of amount within 4 to 5 days , but no action so far happened against the commitment. Would inform to all public that ,Birla Sun life Insurance is dealing with public money and that too their claim of taking care the financials of life /future life and the life after life .. If the company handles the case like this way for the alive people - imagine what would happen for those whose existence is no more!!!! You yourself now decide!!!!! Thanks & Regards,
