Travel agent not cancelling the ticket nor returning the money back.

I and my friend had booked a ticket from Puri to Bangalore from the above said shop.Travel date is 28-Dec-2012.We had given Rs 2000 in advance.But now we dont want to go as my mother's health is not good.We asked him to return the money back but he said ticket has already been done.We asked him to cancel it but he is refusing to cancel it.Sometimes he is telling that ticket has been done in tatkal qouta sometimes says it has been done in HO qouta sometimes something.He is neither returning the money nor giving us the ticket.He is even not giving us the PNR no.Now whenever we go to his shop for the money,he is not there nor he is recieving the phone.He is saying that ticket cannot be cancelled.Please help us asap.

agency not functioning properly

i took an agency from travel e-point.distributor id-DSJH17464 , agent id-AG139178,near about one month it functioned properly,but after that first train ticket booking services has stopped. i try to contact to the person from which i have took the agency but he always replied that contact customer care. i tried many times to to contact customer care also but nobody from there picked up the phone. after some day mobile recharge services also stopped working till then now. also same situation running.please consider my case

Thomas cook taking advantage since they have my money

Hi, My name is Anusha. I had booked a Europe Bargain tour for travel on June 6th with my husband.We had paid an advance amount of Rs.80,000 for both of us. Unfortunately, I could not travel due to medical reasons. I had to cancel the travel on May 14th. I sent my medical certificates and Thomas cook was kind enough to reduce my cancellation charges frm Rs.70,000 per person to Rs.15,000 per person. Hence the cancellation was Rs.30,000 for both of us. I asked them if they can retain the remaining Rs. 50,000 for future use. We were told that we will get a credit note valid till December. However, we never recd any credit note. I had to follow up and finally got hold of Ravi Thomas(ravi.thomas@in.thomascook.in) from the Mumbai branch. He told me that we do not need a credit note if we travel before Sept. I wanted to travel during the Aug 15th week, I told him to provide some domestic packages as i did not want to travel internationally as i am pregnant (4 mths) and would prefer to travel domestically. Thomas told us that since this was an international trip's credit note, we cannot use it domestically. My doctor has asked me to avoid travelling internationally. Thomas says he checked with the management and they refused to let me use this domestically. Whenever I request, they say you are lucky hat you got a credit note itself. Maybe, but I was not told at the time of the credit note that we will not be able to use it for domestic travel. Helplessly, I asked Thomas to check for International packages. I said i want something within the 50k budget, which he claims cannot be possible. I am still following up. I want to know why can't I use the credit note to travel domestically?? If something happens to my health, can i hold Thomas cook responsible for it? As they are forcing me to travel internationally when i do not want to. I am disapoointed with this behaviour. I believe just because Thomas cook has my Rs. 50,000 already, they are making me play. Putting conditions like you cannot travel domestic, cannot exchage credit note for foreign currency, if money is left after booking it will not be refunded etc, I do not feel like a customer at all. I am being forced to go abroad, which is unaccepatble. If I go, and face any health issues, i will straight away get back to Thomas cook.

Refund of Ticket

I have made a ticket on 20th March 2012 from Hyderabad to Delhi through Yatra.Com. I had made the payment of Rs. 5275/- through my credit Card but they had not issue the ticket. Company had send me the mail that they will refund the money in 72 Hrs but till date they havn't refund the money. My cell no. is 9878725327. Please do the needful.

MAKE MY TRIP complaint no.120325022122/120330019552/120413015062 ref booking ID 1203B08845 cash back offer of Rs1150/ on using axis bank card. the promo code as given by booking agent Hemant was wrongly entered by me, however he assured me the same will be done from back end & i will be entitled for the cash back. this has not happened. i made numerous complaints & was always assured of a call back which of course never happened. once i got a call from Ms Savita Kumari ( senior sales executive) asking for my debit card no., so that the cash back could be refunded.she no longer takes my calls ( 01206688081). kindly help me

Not refunding the ticket money of Rs.25,305/- from travel chacha - Reg

Dear Sir, I have booked my ticket on 10th April, 2012 with travel chacha and approved by them. (please see the below acknowledgement from travel chacha.com). But on 11.04.2012 they sent a mail that transaction was not successful due to technical error but they have deducted amount of Rs. 25,305/-. After a lot's of request with make travel chacha, still they are not refunding my amount, and almost 24 days are over. Request you to kindly look into this matter and please take strict action against travel chacha team. Hoping for positive and quick response from yours team. I have cancelled my Flight tickets with cancellation No:IN1202R0043914, against Booking ID No.:NF2201514957509. dated 11th Feb'12. The cancellation amount of Rs. 6485/- has not been credited to my a/c No. till date. I have made an online transfer to purchase this ticket thru my ICICI Bank a/c No. 004201017711 on 17th Jan'12 and 2nd Feb'12. After contacting the customer care several times through telephone and mails the money was not returned.
