We had been approached by Airtel several time in past also for the broadband connection. We already had been using BSNL. However we asked airtel Gurgaon Sector 17 Sales Person Vikas for a connection from 01Aug 2012, on 20th July 2012. He immediately sent another sales person |Mr Pawan for the formalities. He filled up form himself and took the other verification papers from my dad Mr Dharam Vir Mawkin, in whose name connection is taken.Also INR 500 is paid by cheque along with other documents. We categorically told them several times that we need connection only on 01aug 2012 as our connection with BSNL is active till 31July 2012 and we will pay rent for the same. Also we asked for the INR 999 plan and they advised us the land line number also as per our choice. We advised them that we will confirme plan in the evening by consulting other family members.Later I called pawan and confirmed plan for INR 999. On sunday or monday Modem was delivered and for wiring also somebody came. He advised after consulting pawan and vikas that this is just formality. They finished wiring and removed our BSNL mdem also and connection started. Since my mobile number 9811430567 is registered i started getting messages for plan of INR 1399 and activation of account. A lady called me for the wiring issue and since I was at work gave them my nephew Sharad's number as he was at home. A lady called her and he confirmed that connection should be activated from 01aug 2012 only and she confirmed that we cna use the connection for 2 days as trial till 25th july 2012 and billing will be from next billing of 26th july 2012. Same was confirmed by pawan and vikas also. I asked them for plan and they said since they have to send forms each evening to their head office for process, they did not wait for our confirmation of plan and sent the forms.But plan will be as per INR 999 only. To our utter shock we received first bill of INR 153 and since thne I had been lodging complaints to your various office but no body listens. They are so rude. Just now also I called form my land line number 0124 4047156 and since your calls are recorded you can listen the way your people talk to customer. We are not going to pay the first charge of 2 days and will deduct the same from our currect bill and will make the payment. We have Airtel Tower on the roof of our house for last 6 to 7 days and never thought that AIRTEL will cheat us like this. Not received any call from airtel broadband

I have applied a new broadband connection online ref no : 857561146. I got call from customer care and they told " we are sending representative to your place". After that one representative called me on Tuesday 19th June and told that we can able to give connection to your location , please provide required documents. He came to my office and collected address proof and photo identity and 3000 Rs money . I opted for 999 rs plan. He suggested me pay 3000 rs , no need to pay for 3 months , you will get modem at free of cost. He told to me , you will get call in another 48 hours from airtel and we will install the required. But i did not received any call from airtel. I tried to reach the representative mobile no 09738838243 , but it is switched off. I filed a complaint to airtel no 17628872. I am attaching the customer relation ship form along with this. Complaint against airtel broadband for not giving the connection

Hi, I'm Venkat.I applied for airtel broadband connection on Mar 28,2012. My application no is 471575.The technician (Sudhakhar) while collecting the fees for the connection told that within one week the connection will be given. First week went still connection was not given, at least the technician should have called and update the status. I called to his mob no: but he is not at all lifting.I made more than 15 calls from morning onwards. He sent messages like (I'm driving,i'm in meeting, call you back, I'm in hospital)later from public booth when I called unknowingly he picked and coolly said that port issue and it will be resolved in 3 days and he will update the status. But after 3 days same thing repeated, no response from him, when i called him, didn't attend the calls, showed the same worst, unprofessional behavior. If there is a port issue and couldn't be solved in 3days time, he should have updated me and if it is serious problem that couldn't be solved in a week time, should returned my money. Field technician sudhakhar and other guy Veer played game with me, showed the worst behavior, made false promises and not updated the status, because of them my office work lagged, usually i do some important analysis work in home , i could not go native place because these people made false promise that i will get connection on Saturday. Like this, he asked for another 3 days..... like that already 3 weeks gone and on 18th Apr 2012, I complained to airtel customer care, complaint no: 14536862, and told the unprofessional behavior of their field technicians and asked them to take action on them, customer care person simply said that they can't take any action on them, I explained about the losses i met because of not getting the connection on time and their worst behavior but she simply kept the receiver aside, i realized when i didn't get any response, after few seconds gave the complaint no. I preferred airtel because private service providers give connection fast, that is only perception, in actual they are very worst, unprofessional, and giving 3rd degree service through their service people. Those who read this, please don't think that you will get good service from airtel blindly, that is only dream.
